I’m gonna open with a truth bomb — I don’t usually enjoy adding greens to my smoothies. Why not? Because they taste like greens… and I have a sweet tooth. So when Genuine Health offered to send us the Acaï Mango flavour of their Vegan greens+ O, you can understand why I was intrigued. Acai Mango? That’s right up my alley.

These greens aren’t like the others
If you find the taste of greens to be a bit too strong for you, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by this one. Vegan greens+ O from Genuine Health is also gluten free! Now that’s great if you don’t do gluten, but if you’re paying attention to taste, it also means there’s no wheatgrass in it! With the addition of acai and mango, you’ve got a greens like none that you’ve tried before.
Honestly, I’m so happy to have a greens flavour that feels like it ‘fits’ in a fruit smoothie. I won’t call it sweet, but it definitely has a hint of fruitiness to that is perfect for anyone who has a harder time with traditional greens.

The O stands for organic
Vegan greens+ O contains 75% organic ingredients. It’s all-natural, so here’s a tip to keep your supply of greens fresher, longer. Store it in the fridge after you open it! If you keep it in a area that’s too warm or has temperature swings, it may oxidize. The fridge is a controlled environment — ideal for your all-natural Vegan greens+ O.
It also happens to be completely soy free, so for those with an allergy (like my mom), you have an excellent greens option available, that’s also entirely vegan.

Love how you feel
You can totally mix this with water and drink it straight, but Vic and I do love our smoothies and Vegan greens+ O is a great addition to our breakfast. Just 1 scoop in your morning smoothie will give you the energizing, antioxidant-rich, and pH balancing benefits of Genuine Health’s greens+ lineup.
Reap those benefits and take control of your health. You should love how you feel! This is a great start on that path. You’ve got this!

Recipe: Berry Smoothie Bowl
This is a simple recipe for a thick, spoonable smoothie that’s best served in a bowl with a crunchy granola and fresh fruit. If you’re in a rush, you can easily adapt this to a drinkable texture. Just add your preferred liquid — orange juice, non-dairy milk, coconut water, etc.
— Ingredients —
- 1.5 cups berries (blueberry, blackberry, raspberry mix), frozen
- 2 bananas, frozen
- 1-2 scoop(s) Genuine Health Vegan greens+ O
— Instructions —
- Prepare a bowl with your favourite granola as a base.
- In a high-power blender, blend your frozen fruit and greens until the chunks are gone, but the mixture is still thick.
- Scoop your smoothie into the bowl and flatten with the back of a spoon.
- Add your favourite toppings — ours are fresh berries, dehydrated coconut, granola, and edible flowers for those insta-worthy pics 😉
Enjoy!
